is not a hobby
...It's a way of life.
Leonardo da Vinci (April 15, 1452 – May 2, 1519) was an Italian polymath, scientist, mathematician, engineer, inventor, anatomist, painter, sculptor, architect, botanist, musician and writer. He has often been described as the archetype of the Renaissance man, a man whose unquenchable curiosity was equaled only by his powers of invention. He is widely considered to be one of the greatest painters of all time and perhaps the most diversely talented person ever to have lived.
Our goal at Da Vinci Academy is to provide a professional and disciplined, yet fun and supportive atmosphere were students of all levels can succeed. At the academy, our aim is not only to teach “how” but to cultivate the “why,” forming a deep appreciation for art.
It's been proven that early exposure to arts education promotes activity in the brain.
Art nurtures inventiveness as it engages children in a process that aids in the development of self esteem, discipline, cooperation and motivation. Participating in art activities helps children to gain the tools necessary for adapting to and respecting others' ways of working and thinking, developing focus, building creative problem-solving skills, and communicating thoughts and ideas in a variety of ways.
